Northern Christians under the aegis, The Concerned Christians of Nigeria and Northern Nigerian Christians, have declared their choice to haul out of the Christian Relationship of Nigeria CAN and return to what they portrayed as the pre-freedom Northern Nigerian Christian Association (NNCA).
The Northern Christian bodies said late political happenings and "debasement" in CAN with specific reference to what they portrayed as the "controvesial" rise of the new CAN President, Rev. Supo Ayokunle (above), constrained them to haul out of the Christian body.
At a joint question and answer session in Jos in Plateau state, Rev. Luka Shehu of Concerned Christians of Nigeria and Hon.
Diminish Luka of Northern Nigerian Christians blamed the administration of CAN of demonstrations of defilement and in addition disregard of northern Christians particularly in the North-East.
"Considering our basic shared qualities and
